The mechanical fuel injection pump is normally mounted on top of the engine base.

Porsche felt that the RSR required additional bracing towards the top of the pump to keep it stable during the race and prevent rocking on its base.

We have faithfully reproduced this MFI pump strut, including the necessary connector for the oil pressure light "idiot switch" which must be used as it collides with the strut.
