Zur Befestigung des Spiegels am Fahrzeug wird der Spiegel so an der Tür positioniert,

dass die Befestigungsbolzen durch ein Loch an der Innenseite der Tür leicht zugänglich sind.

Natürlich kann bei sehr großen oder kleinen Fahrern eine gewisse Anpassung erforderlich sein.

Die Anordnung der Spiegel an der rechten Tür ist ein Kompromiss, in den 1960er Jahren wurden Spiegel auf der rechten Seite nur selten angebracht.

Das Belüftungsfenster verdeckt meist die Reflexion des Spiegels.
